Prepare before the farewell
Decide the route or home-immersion arrangement, keep the aarti and prasad ready, separate flowers and nirmalya, and check local civic guidance for collection or immersion points.
An eco-conscious farewell
Use the immersion method appropriate for the material of the murti and your local regulations. Avoid placing plastic, thermocol, chemical decorations or mixed waste into water. Community collection points or controlled home immersion may be suitable where locally supported.
